... GPS did us wrong again by taking us a rather out of the way route to get to the park. I don’t get it. We got here, but had to take more turns and go further away to do so.
We checked in at the office, which is not in the park proper, and were given directions to the campground. The spaces were cheap, at $20 per night, but there is no Wi-Fi or cable service and the sites don’t have a sewer hookup, either. You have to dump at the dump station ...

With all this music, beer and heat I could leave without trying some of it's famous food so I ambled down to the Soul Fish Cafe where I tried by very first catfish in a catfish PoBody. Fried catfish, new orleans style bread with lettuce, tomato and sweet potato fries ... Yummo! All in all, Memphis was a huge hit! Next stop is for some Southern charm at Charleston, South ...
