... Everything is used including feeding the barley and yeast wastes to pigs, making bricks and using broken glass to make the bottles. The company boasts of its commitment to the workers and to the community.

Qingdao (pronounced "Zhing Dow") is a mixture of old of new. Old Qingdao is dirty and gritty. The new city is clean and shiny since it was built for the sailing events of the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing and it has many new skyscrapers. This is also an important Chinese Navy port - five submarines and various other ships were in port with us.
