... you can eat healthier by bringing your lunch to school or work. Packing a healthy lunch helps you avoid the temptation of high-calorie fast food. It is much cheaper than eating out so you will find that you aren't only losing weight, but you are helping your wallet! The key to losing weight is not just eating the right foods - you also have to exercise regularly. Fitness routines can be difficult ...

We spent 2 days in Iron Mountain, Michigan. It is a nice little town with connections to Henry Ford, lumber for transporting cars and Kingsford, charcoal. The town is really split in 2, Iron Mountain and Kingsford with the total population of 16,000. We went to Pine Mountain Ski jump and hiked up the 500 stairs. It was a nice stress test!! The ski jump is one of the largest artificial ski jumps in the USA.
Thursday was a beautiful day with plenty of sunshine and ...

Wow, what a day. It was suppose to rain all day, but our luck held out. We went to Chuck's great grand parents farm. As a kid he spent his summers there, swimming, fishing and hunting. Then as an adult him and his first wife, Renee and the girls spent 7 years living there. The Farm is in the Upper Peninsula, Michigan between Iron River and Crystal Falls. He moved from the Farm over 30 years ago and needless to say many things ...

    My kind of day

... with sufficient sunlight, and I do not envy myself six months ago, living most of my life in darkness. Frankly, I'm glad I survived. A morning like that will make up for any remains of the day, but today followed suit. Sun and trees all day made for easy pedaling, and before I knew it I was at my destination, Crystal Falls MI. It is a quaint little town built on a hill, the first of its kind I've seen in some time. The downtown area slopes downward, similar ...
