David went off for the second of the optional tours to the White Emperor City. This one is quite famous for the number of poems that have been written about it by many famous poets several hundred years ago. Finally on my last day it was by bus to another village - Qinghua to see the Rainbow bridge (800 years old and original!!!) A bit same, same so think I am done with old villages. Very hot and humid. ... would show me where to get off and get another bus to the station. And that's what I did - all for 50cents. And made the train connection with an hour to spare. Only standing room on the train. Luckily it was only 2 hours on a fast train and I could sit on my backpack in the cafe area. Then set out to find my hostel - that took another hour. Maps here are not good and asking for directions is a real hit and miss ...
