        ... go to Puerto Rico, where we might get a chance to practise our Spanish. From there, we'll go to the island of Sint Maarten, a wonderful little Caribbean dot on the map that's ruled by both the Dutch and French in far off Europe. After that it will be several days at sea.

        Dakujem, that means 'thank you' in Slovak. Or does it mean 'Good morning'? I'm never quite sure.

        ... and a bustling food market. Michael and I went for a walk and were spoilt for choice for dinner options. We settled on a neat place where Michael chose his own pasta ingredients which they then cooked up in front of us and I did the same at the salad bar with a choice of about 30 different options to add in – delicious!

        ... and we were served huge glasses of rum and coke! We were told about all the meetings set up with medical professionals and that were were expected to dress nicely and always be on time for every meeting. The rest of this first day we were on our own. I headed to my room and was glad I had paid the extra to be alone. My room was dated but clean and huge. The bathroom was especially nice with a giant tub. I had a great view of the Malacon too. ...
