      ... birthday (already August 6 in Sydney). That was lovely. We caught her just up and having breakfast! Then I had my first hour long brisk walk along the beach. Just fabulous. The beach is always very breezy and despite walking hard needed a fleece to be comfortable! Tonight we went to the pub, the San Dune, for dinner. End of another great day.       Surfing and Hiking
      Our fourth and final night here in Nehalem Bay state park, it is 9:00 and were in bed! A full three days we have had here; full with exactly what we had planned on doing, surfing and hiking!Our first full day we hiked just over 20 kilometres through Oswald West State Park, an absolute must see if coming down the coast.
