Road Trip North - Oregon Coast
Continuing up the California coast we spent Sunday 11th at Eureka. Again: Rain, rain go away
... were used to store hay. In 1993 hangar A burnt to the ground leaving just the concrete end door supports. Lucky for us that hangar B is still standing and is the site for the museum.
When we came out of the museum it was raining so hard it was like a waterfall on the sides of the hangar. Fortunately as we drove back to the campground the rain stopped for a short while so we decided to drive the Cape Loop Road along ...
Pacific Coast Highway, here we come
... the road shoulder on the side of the mountain are supported by a rock wall. Wow.
We decided to stay at Cape Lookout, a state park on the coast, for the next two days until this storm passes. Hopefully the rain stops and we can do some hiking. Either way we will be going into Tillamook, a nearby town, to see the local attractions tomorrow.

Walla Walla WA to Oregon
