"Ice cream, you scream. Everyone likes ice cream" Chris Barber' Jazz Band

Today was meant to be another day of "leaf peeping" as we travelled eastwards. It didn't work out quite like that; in fact my planning went seriously awry. My defence is ignorance rather than incompetence. The motel breakfast was a hot buffet, with rubberised eggs and shattering fatty bacon. The cereals were good, some ...

... 8217;s a room with a king bed and a twin bed. It would be a good room for a small family. There is no fan however and no Ac so the windows are now open but it was in the high 60s today so it won’t be cold to sleep which sucks. I don’t know why there is this warm weather right now. Its ruining my “crisp fall” I was hoping for. I also seem to have lost all the reception I gained back today when we ...

Just doesn't get any better than starting your day by going to a Ben & Jerry's factory and tasting ice cream. What a success story. We really enjoyed the tour of the factory. I was surprised to learn they freeze all of the ingredients before they put them in the ice cream. If they would not do that, the items would just blend in with the ice cream. Our sample was a caramel ice cream with caramel and chocolate swirls ...

Today we left at our hotel at colchester in Vermont 0800 for a fairly leisurely journey to our stop for today Keene New Hampshire. We are travelling on route 89 and will be passing Montpellier the capital of Vermont and a population of about 4000. They have a capital building and about 65 senators but they are mostly part time. Along the way we had our first stop at Quechee Gorge which was formed about 1300 years ago. After this short stop we went to a small village/town called ...
