... to take in the afternoon after hiking the cup and saucer.

This plan wasn't to happen: we woke up in the morning and it had been raining so hard over night that water had seeped into the van and wet the ends of our blankets. No hiking for us today, which I was devastated about, as the cup and saucer is the most popular hike in Ontario!! But can't change the weather, so we got the earlier Chi Cheemaun ferry over to Tobermory.

... and...after battling it out for a few minutes our team felt the rope release and found ourselves on the ground. We got up, thinking the other team had won, only to see them all staggering and on the ground too! The rope had snapped in half! ... had several stops at Tim Hortons for leg-stretching and food-getting but it didn't seem like too long before we'd arrived in Tobermory, the terminal for the Chi-Cheemaun ferry across to Manitoulin Island.
