... Catbird posed for us. A fisherman's path led over sand dunes to a beach at the north end of the spit. The sun came out to reveal a breathtaking view of New York City. A pair of ospreys were fishing, while some fishermen examined a stranded yacht in the foreground. Surreal! We took more photos of the lighthouse in the sun, then decided to head south along the NJ shore to see if we could ...

... Jersey they love to put No Turn on Red signs half a block before the intersection rather than next to the signal where you can see them as you might be contemplating such a turn. It’s only in New Jersey that I always feel like the police are out to give me a ticket to fulfill a revenue-raising quota they’ve been assigned if I don’t use my turn signal soon enough before the intersection. I gave him a scrap of paper and he played for at least 15 minutes putting it in and taking it out of one of those ...

... would've called it Six Flags Wicked Ass Death Coasters, but their name probably works for all markets. As soon as I was through the gate, I headed for Kingda Ka. No warm-up rides for this mad red-head.

Here's what you need to know. Kingda Ka is a roller coaster at Six Flags Great Adventure. It goes from 0-206 km in 3.5 seconds. Re-read that if you need to. It pulls 5 G's as it curves straight up. It is 139 metres HIGH. ...

Today was anything but ordinary. We began with the smallest venue yet, meaning it had the smallest dock as well. It only allowed for one truck to unload at a time, and that one had to be unloaded by forklift because there was no trailer unloading depression. We didn't start the LED wall until after 1pm and I didn't get to my DL side screens until around 3pm.
Once we were loaded in, we did our typical sound checks and everything ...
