      Drove 50 miles from Kelso to the Mt St Helens National Park to visit Ape Cave.

      After hiking the underground cave for 2 miles we then drove the 155 miles to Seattle in 4 hours.


      A two stop day so up early to slightly double back on ourselves so we could visit Ape Cave. The cave was discovered in the 50's by a farmer whose tractor fell into them. They originally thought it was a sink hole, however ...

      ... finding our hotel in the middle of Seattle which is very nice and then returning our beloved Mustang to the rental company. Both were achieved with minimum fuss thankfully.       ... fish toss, went to the gum wall, meandered all through the little stands in awe of all the neat things around us!
