... I hope I have an opportunity to take a hike though a trail once I get to Monterey. Last night I was reading up on some of the main destinations to look out for on my way down. The list includes. BigSur, Carmel, Monterey, and of course McWay falls. I will be sure to stop over at each of these destinations and take some great pictures. It's only two short days I need to make the most of it. They recorded all of this wonderful music near the ends of their lives, and I couldn't be happier that Ry Cooder found them and brought them all together before they died just a few years later. I definitely recommend checking the film and the music out if you haven't done so before.

Well a car ride, a metro ride, an aeroplane ride, 2 shuttle buses and another metro train later we arrived at Hoboken, New Jersey. George and I were both a little the worse for ware, a bit tired and emotional by this point, the stress and exhaustion beginning to show now.
We called our host, George's friend who we were staying with and he came and picked us up at the PATH, a local rail link which gets you into Manhattan in 8 minutes!
