    ... all written in my mind. But really, they just keep selling parking passes to anyone and there is no limit on how many are sold. They could sell 10,000 when in actuality there are only 200 spots! We did manage to find a spot, sort of. It’s all a matter of interpretation. You're not allowed to park on the bridge.     ... and by the time we got out everyone was a stir. The clouds above were thick black and people were talking "tornado". OH NO!!!! Got back to camp and got soaked running 5 feet from the truck to the door. There was lots of rain and thunder during dinner but the oooo's and aaaaa's of eating our lobster drowned it out.

    ... is in the sunshine.

    Thought I'd give Chris a break tonight and we'd go out for dinner. Went to "Maine Diner" which was showcased on the Foodnetwork tv show Diners, Drive in's and Dives. It's a small local diner, nothing fancy, but fantastic food, with HUGE portions. Chris had the pork roast and I had kielbasa macaroni & cheese. We were totally stuffed and have tomorrows lunch.

    ... to eat and off to the beach for an amazing fireworks display over the ocean. Drove the beach area, or crawled in the beach area, and miraculously found a good parking spot. That was a surprise. Found a nice bench right up front to watch from.....another nice surprise. Then the real surprise..............we were at the wrong beach. Oh well, back to camp for banok and bed.
