    ... we
arrived on board, we discovered that more than half of the people on the cruise
had been delayed several hours in Shanghai due to weather! They eventually
arrived that evening, but had missed the museum completely. Dinner was tasty
and we ordered from 5 choices on the menu. I had a lemon sole with a lovely
sauce and Dale had some pork ribs. We dined with the Aussies from our group.

We stayed for one night in Wuhan, before catching our next flight to Xi'an. Wuhan is a massive city, even by Chinese standards (10.2 million people), yet few people in the US have heard of it. Yueyang is a relatively small (population of 3 million) port city located between Wuhan and Chongqing on the Yangtze. ...

... I must be cursed, as I had a similar issue on the Viking river cruise in Eastern Europe!
Anyhow, we were met at the airport by Jeffrey, our guide and given a bunch of the history of Wuhan, which is mostly in the middle of China. It is general a warm climate here, lots of agriculture (rice, barley, corn), and was a big industrial city with steel mills, textiles as they grow cotton and heavy machinery production. Now it is mainly a car manufacturing ...

... The construction here and everywhere we have been so far is absolutely mind boggling. I gotta think they are over building.

We got on our flight to Wuhan and then boarded a bus and travelled for four hours to Yichang. On our way to Yichang we stopped at a rest stop along the highway. Gerrie needed a bathroom break so ...
