After coffee and donuts we left to see the Everglades which we had passed last night, so needed to travel back 30 miles to Everglades City. We did not want to miss the opportunity to see an alligator .We had a great time speeding through narrow Everglades, the 'captain' sped us around in circles several times, I held on for grim death and Liz hung onto her hat. ... was shown on it's video cameras sinking into the ground. The explanation being nature claimed the ground underneath through a phenomena called "sinkholes." What are the chances this happened naturally? Seems remote. Could the ground underneath have been quietly excavated and insurance now being paid for cars that were not selling in this economy? Could it have been a gimmick to increase interest in Corvette?

How would the world be different now if Gore had stayed elected when he ran back in 2000? We would undoubtedly be better off now.
