... couple of days in and we are already finding that the basic plan is also too much. Everything is huge and a vegetable an elusive thing. Today, I have made the mistake of booking two table service meals on the same day (to ensure we use them up as we are not actually going to the theme parks every day of our stay), By the time we had had our tea, we could barely walk! Even Andy was struggling! So we go home hot, tired and very full. Just like it should be on ...

Besides that, it was cool to see them re-enact most of the great stunt ...

... a massive one which apparently covered the swimming pool. Finally got to Legoland. The first ride was the "island in the sky" which is like a plate on a stick or a flying merry-go-round. A round thing on a big arm that lifts up high and goes slowly around so you can see all the surrounding area. Apparently it is 30 years old. The park is on a huge lake, and it was a good view, but it really showed us how flat it is here - dead flat everywhere, ...

    Day 8: Legoland

... everywhere. A Star Wars area built entirely of Lego, a mini Las Vegas, Little Havana and a few others and I hope to post some pics a bit later of Legoland, because it was a really cool place. After Legoland we ate at Uno Chicago because we didn't have any deep dish while we were in Chicago. Then it was home to bed to get ready for Gatorland for the next ...
