... then we made a quick get away before she could stop and talk to us again!! We didn't end up out until 10:30 but was giving a round of applause when me and Nathan walked in and everyone was sitting down, my face was red as a frigging tomato!! 3 drinks, a jelly shot and a fireball shot and I'm up on the d-floor shaking what I got, getting compliments from all the local girls telling me I'm like iggy azalea hahaha, can bust a move!! Changed my mind, I'll keep it to a blog per city

... for our large group; the staff was so accommodating. Great sausage, ribs just ok--not very juicy or meaty; pulled pork good; slaw vinegar based, which we don't care for; beans ok.





















Blues City Cafe--excellent ribs; half the group went here.

... starting their own shops, lawyers, doctors etc as they weren't too welcome in segregated downtown Memphis. Now it's home to Blues bars, museums, shops and restaurants. Oh and one Irish pub......
Its really atmospheric and at night will be very friendly and entertaining..

I headed to the riverside to walk back and it really is an awesome sight, the Mississippi....

... and Hazels. It just is a horrible place. Many nasty murders of the women occurred there. Some guests on the tour experience the remaining spirits presence regularly. The tour guide showed a photo from her mobile of a girl clearly standing in a doorway, but she assured us there was nobody there. After that experience we hit the blues joints on Beale.
