    There was a company doing a new ad for the boat company using a drone. It was cool to see how far they could fly it out away from the boat and video the surroundings. Who knows we maybe in the ad!!

    We really enjoyed our boat ride of almost 3 hours and it was a great way to see what Lake George is all about!!

    Tomorrow is a hike of about 4 miles up Prospect Mountain. Should be fun!!

    ... is packed with tourist shops and restaurants and plenty of people to keep them busy. Once you find a parking spot and start to walk around you see the charm of this little town. Lake George is a beautiful lake and people flock to the water for swimming, boating and sunbathing.

    The definition of insanity is: doing the same thing over and over, yet expecting different results. This is one of those days. It is not a bad day, but more of a very busy one. We have hit a leg of our tour where we are doing three in a row, day off, two in a row. Sleep is not really a priority at this point, more getting the show up, then out.

    ... on a young person. That she has been in meetings where that is the pure focus, the barriers to learning and development.....so have I. She gave anecdotes about reports saying "child x cannot sit down for 5 minutes", yet she'd seen child x sit for 3 minutes 10 times in one lesson.     ... the SEN young people that go into mainstream schools. They tend to leave the special schools alone and in fact few could tell me what was happening in their district's special schools. I was impressed by Dr Allington who spoke passionately about reading. And he spoke about the importance of student choice in reading texts, if you find the hook exploit it.
