    Our first "mile marker"...not!...was the carcass of a big cow. No marker or interpretive pamphlet to tell us the reason for its demise, but as veteran viewers of CSI, we were able to intuit from the evidence that it died of accute shortness of breath. Actually, it could have be of natural causes or coyote causes...really couldn't ...

    ... swear!), but with a car packed to the brim with bags and K-9 patrol on duty, who knows, right? Fortunately, they just glanced in our car, asked if we were US citizens, and wished us a good day. Phew! It ended up not being a big deal at all, but we wanted to make sure you future I-10 West travelers knew about this so it doesn't freak you out.

    So now I'm in Phoenix waiting for my 11:45 flight to Albuquerque. Can't wait to just get there now, today had been soooo long! The cabin crew on my last flight must have been at the end of a long long shift because they didnt seem in the mood to suffer fools...ah well :-p More updates to come :-) ...

    January 25th—Up early and read and computered till time to head to the MRI at Mesa Regional Hospital.
