After a great breakfast of pancakes that Karla kindly got up early and made for us we were on the road to Mississippi and the town of Jackson where we would be staying for the night.

Het eten is dus een culinair dieptepunt, maar goed, je kunt niet alles hebben. Als troost gaan we naar de naastgelegen 'frozen yoghurt'-zaak, waar we ons tegoed doen aan een flinke bak calorieën, mede om de smaak van het Chinese buffet weg te krijgen.

... didn't disappoint! It wasn't long until we saw our first look at a swamp turtle, and we were in real luck because that was followed shortly with our first sighting of a alligator! This alligator was not at all shy neither! It came straight up to the boat and wasn't afraid of the people in it! The Tour guide said that we are safe, however you wouldn't want to get on the wrong side of this animal!
