... After the tour we looked at the space artefacts and watched a few movies/documentaries. There isn't as much to see and do at the center compared to Kennedy so we left at about 3pm a little disappointed (spoiled perhaps at going to Kennedy first). For dinner we got some Chinese food and called it a night. We did get to go inside this, and even climbed up into the cockpit where were were encouraged to take a seat and have our pictures taken. Dave claimed that this was an extra special treat, and that he was doing us a great ...

    ... F (5.5 deg C) - Ouch.

Rachael graciously got us home and settled (and as Sarah said, it felt just like coming home having visited just 2 years previously) and that was almost the end of our first day in Houston. She was then off to work and in all honesty, we all retired to bed and slept for almost the entire day.

Morgy woke up crying a few times complaining that he was tired, but quickly returned to slumber.
