Only to be informed the plane will now have to be reweighed for balance after losing a sixty pound gal and what must be her massive amounts of luggage....bloody hell why don't you repaint the feckin airplane while your at it! Changes I made

Yesterday, I tried to fix my stay at a guest ranch in the Texas Hill Country. However, the ranch of my choice is closed for a week due to a family wedding. I have checked for alternatives, but I either do not like the ranch or it is way too expensive. Therefore, I will jump on a horse in New Mexico or Arizona. Naturewise I will like those states better anyways.
So, this forenoon I will hop in a bus to San Antonio. Jan 29th in the evening, I will fly to El Paso.

Oh my goodness! What a night! 8 girls in 1 room coming and going at any time of the night. Making loud noises, putting the light on, snorring crazy, clogging the toilet, jumping around in the upper bunk, very limited respect. Under these circumstances I had my difficulties catching sleep. Am I getting too old for a dorm?

Others went and saw Dolphins or watched a historical movie on the deviation of the 1900 flood that took out Galveston. We ended up buying some dog photo frames, Christmas TV with a music box in ...

... the last 187 years. Needless to say any fireworks have been canceled and replaced with a laser show.

Today, Sunday, was spent in center city San Antonio at the Alamo and in the Riverwalk area. The Alamo is terrific and is the reason it was very crowded, but it is a must see. I spent over 2 hours at the Alamo, before heading out into the city's very cool Riverwalk area. It is a tributary of the San Antonio river, built one level below the ...
