I'm sitting in the Charlotte airport on my 8 hour layover, drinking a cold beer and reflecting on the last 10 years. This trip is far and beyond anything I've ever done before, and it is really exciting. Especially since I still don't have half of it planned yet!
I'm going to keep my eyes, mind, and heart open and have a great time!
... you'll know why I'm commenting on this. By phone, Ellie exudes enthusiasm. It almost drips from the phone. She gushes when she speaks (not a criticism). In person, she is the same. After the show, I typically rush through the crowd to help the guys on stage with changing over to KISS, but today we had another Veteran award to give away. I rushed to go onstage and we had a great time getting the crowd pumped. I have realized that going up on stage is not as terrifying as it could have been. It is becoming natural for me to go out there and have fun.
To Raleigh, NC tomorrow. Here we go.
