An interesting day today. Started with the biggest rocking chair ever, then a number of old towns, cafes, trading posts and diners. Visited Red Oak 2 which is a collection of old buildings brought together a bit like St Fagans. Found a Box Turtle on the road -these have a hinged carapace at front and back which means its head and feet can be completely enclosed. Had a Mexican meal tonight but not sure ...

... 33 or so. Being the space geek we stopped at Marshfield, the hometown of Dr Edwin Hubble, where they have a quarter scale replica of the Hubble telescope. Springfield to Carthage was roughly 45 miles straight so I may have out the head down for a minute or too.....the drive gets tiring lol. Woke about 6 and got out into the wagon wheel motel area really nice place as I thought even tho it was dark last night it was beautiful this morn hit road early and topped at bakery for breakfast.
