There was a steady 31 mph wind and no one going down the Rideau today, so we decided to be safe and stay one more day at Pirates Cove Marina in Kemptville . We road our bikes 5 km into town (against the wind it felt longer); Had some lunch and road back. It felt good to get some exercise. We spent most of ...

The weather was still cold so the campfires were inside in a big boiler. Still a great time around the ...

Jenny had a package to pick up from the States so we took a little road trip. It's pretty clever. Instead of getting all her packages delivered to her house just across the border, she has a PO box in the states where she gets things delivered to save on shipping and import taxes. It's only a 45 minute drive away so when big packages get delivered why not? Also I get another excuse to go to the states again.

We went to a place called Ogdensburg which is connected to Canada by ...

Joined the Good Sam Club, this gives us very good Road Side Assistance for both of us plus our Trailer and access to the Camping World stores (a must for campers, we were told). Through Good Sam we found a local chapter called the By town Campers, so we contacted them and they invited us to join their next camp out over the Labour Day weekend in Brockville.

Camp out was held at Happy Green Acres campground, it is a large ...
