    Slept well, and woke up early and headed to Starbucks to stoke up on oatmeal and 2 large cups of coffee. I drove back to downtown Springfield to visit the Lincoln Library and Museum. They are now housed in two adjoining buildings that were dedicated in 2002. I went into the Museum first, and paid $15.00 which gained me access to the Museum, Library and Union Station where there is a special display of items related to the Spielberg movie "Lincoln". ...

    I drove 413 miles today from Columbus to Springfield Illinois all via interstate and arrived at today's accommodations via AirBNB.com. For those who are not familiar with this service, it is essentially paying someone to stay in their house; condo; apartment; carriage house; or basement.
