      ... opinions and last but not least: the children. I was watching the Whatcom FC Rangers U12 team. 16 boys around the age of 12 were coached by Rob Knowles. I could write a whole book about this experience, but I won't. Soccer in the USA is very, very different from soccer in The Netherlands.

      ... prison. But this little town was the farthest thing from a prison. It is a very charming "Germanesque" town with Bavarian architectural touches. If we had more time, Leavenworth would definitely be a place to explore.

      The drive along Hwy 2 with the waterfalls, forests and mountains at the sunset hour was SPECTACULAR! I am so happy Jim made this decision at the last minute to take the scenic route. Tomorrow we board the Columbia!
