... It has some of the original escalators and this is something that people actually like. For me, it just seems too much like stepping back in time! I don't enjoy the shopping or the crowds. Turns out that this may have been a bad idea. I had wanted to go to 230 on 5th which is a rooftop cocktail bar, but the thought of going back to the apartment to shower and change, then schlepping back into Midtown is not an appealing one.
