... it also made me chuckle.

From there, it was a much easier route as we followed the Connecticut coastline, although we did wander a little ways inland so that I could fly over Westport, where my mom grew up and I spent time at my grandparents' place. From the air, there wasn't much that I could recognize with certainty, except a place called the North Main Garage, which was right next to the donut shop that I had so loved as a kid.

... that was totally electric (no gas backup); he had stores of water of no less than 2400 gallons on the 3rd floor; there were covered access to the food delivery area; there was a 150 foot tunnel from the road to bring in coal for the house's furnaces. ... amazing dinner view. Mystics centre was quaint with idyllic old buildings, a picturesque draw bridge, interesting little shops, good food and a surprising amount of places to get a drink.
