    Drove northwest for 520 miles which was evenly divided between Wisconsin and Minnesota. A lot of farms in Wisconsin but surprised we didn't see more cows in the Dairy State.  Crossed the Mississippi into the eastern suburbs of St Paul at noon.     ... back, I put on my French lesson (it's going very well, I can introduce myself, count to 100 kind of, and say what I want to eat), and powered through the day's meandering and windy ride.
