Made it to Fargo, Day 2

Made it to Fargo, ND today. It snowed this morning in Wisconsin and we met Emmy's friend for lunch in Minneapolis, MN.
We also stopped at an REI for a few minutes.

Roads in Minnesota this evening were icy in spots and it was very windy, but we went slow and made it here safely.

Sorry, there isn't much else to say since we haven't done any sight seeing yet. Planning on entering Canada tomorrow, so things should become more interesting.

On Sunday morning eleven of us had breakfast together at Perkins (one of my favorite places for breakfast in this part of the country) before going our separate ways home ...

When I am riding, I very often get honks from passing vehicles, waves. or yells of encouragement. My favorites are the motorcycle riders who give me the biker's nod, a thumbs up, or maybe a peace sign to say 'We got your back.'. The most common words I hear from all these kind well-wishers is "Be ...

    The longest departure EVER

Got into security after waiting for some folks and a chatty security agent, and as always it takes me a bit longer because of hand checking my insulin pump. I got an expedite card so I didn't have to take off my shoes or sweatshirt (which was good, since I had nothing under the sweatshirt...). I went to the composure area to get "composed" and signaled to Peter that I was going ahead to hold the plane :) . . .

Boarding was taking place and Peter ...
