    Staying at Martin Lake Resort which is a definite stretch! It is mobile home park not an rv park, with old fifth wheels and campers that people call home. There is a nice lake and a pool. We drove down along the gulf and stopped to take pictures of the carved trees damaged during Katrina. Absolutely beautiful! Had dinner at BBQ joint that had wonderful reviews but we didn't like it as much. However the owner was so friendly it made up for it. Leave tomorrow for ...

    ... discovered in Biloxi. The Barq family still live in Biloxi, Mississippi. We went to the Sharkhead Souvenir store as well and purchased some fresh shrimp and oysters right from the dock for a mere $20 for 3 pounds. Supper for tonight.     ... to buy some right off of a shrimp boat. $6.00 lb. We decided to go to a fresh fish market and supplement our feast with raw oysters. Came back in time for Happy Hour and a friendly games of bean bag toss. Whipped up a coleslaw and Caesar salad, boiled the shrimp and shucked the oysters. What a meal!! We left New Orleans on highway 10 but then went on to the smaller 90 nearer the coast, unfortunately we joined just after Waveland which we discovered later was pretty much wiped out by Katrina and still recovering.
