... feel - from rather chic to pretty rundown. At first we wanted to walk more, but we were too tired and too hungry, so we checked in Pappy's Smokehouse where we had delicious pork ribs and pulled chicken and NO alcohol ;-). With new strengths David continued on to photograph the Gateway Arch by night. They turned out ...

... can't see plays made in left field) of the action if a little bit far away. The game was not the greatest I have watched but the company was the best so far (other than family and friends of course!). Ben and Alyssa sat to my left and were very engaging and interested in my trip. Alyssa even fessed up to me that she had reported my unattended bag (which, being the trusting, naive small town guy I am, I left sitting in my seat when I went to the ...

... a rock avalanche with his tail and then flew out. He had trapped us. A few days later a eagle came to us and told us that a human named Bard had killed the great Smaug. A few hours after that The Humans and the Elves came up to the mountain trying to claim gold. We didn't let them through though. ... Our next stop was the Old City court house which was fascinating and learned all about the slave trades and the Dred Scott Case.
We jump on a city trolley (bus) and seen a bit more of downtown assisted by our friendly driver.
Dinner stop was at a nice steak house which was lovely.

Today before leaving St Louis we went to visit the zoo. it was a very nice morning and seen loads of animals and even took a wee train ride.

Set of for Springfield Missouri about 3pm.
