    ... way and even txt Tim to ask him why it was so hard to breathe! Elevation is a Biatch. The trail was so steep that you had to run to not get exhausted, as weird as that sounds. The view from top of the cliff was stunning. The water is so blue and you could see clusters of sea weed which looked pretty cool, not like seeing it in Crystal Beach's brown waters.

    I could have kept going to another trail but I was exhausted and knew it ...

    ... Monica. We passed many a studio, one being nickelodeon, a channel we knew from back in the day. We got back on Hollywood boulevard and found the main centre with shopping malls, cinemas, theatres, an area we missed from before. So we had a nosey round there, wondering through shops such as the Disney store, normally on more than one occasion as they handed out free chocolate.     ... too early as pretty much everything was closed.

    On the upside when in Hollywood we dropped into the Fossil shop just on the offchance and they did have the watch Elaine was chasing but couldn't get in either Australia or yesterday in Santa Monica. Across the road was a movie premiere for a film called McFarland so people were set up to take pictures.

    Was interesting to hear about Spanish background to LA as our knowledge of US history ...
