    ... a group of 8 very talented Chinese teenagers (training since the age of 5) perform unbelievable feats with their bodies. , set to music, followed by a slow walk through the gardens to see all the displays created of Chinese scenes made from silk over framing and all lit from within.
    A LONG day and we departed crossing in the dark over the Mississpipi into State of Illoinis and our bed for the night.

    Time to begin my disneyland adventure! One of my favourite were space mountain. A thrilling ride, in the dark, with lighting stars. As we went zooming through 'space' it was the perfect start to our adventure. Another one was star tours. A brilliant 3D adventure. And... Ben was the mysterious rebel spy that the stormtroopers were trying to find. We fell underwater, almost got eaten by a giant underwater thing, and crashed in to a ship that broke ...

    ... put it mildly, and the IT guy on board just goes "Oh no! Not that Australian telco again. We always have problems with them". So, he's no help!! The end result of all this is that Margaret has not been able to access any email since around 22 Mar or so.
    P.S. This was written some time ago. Have now sorted things and can receive my mail via Robert's tablet. Perversely, my tablet has started working again??? - but now I don't trust it ...

    ... t recommend Red Corner Asia at Hollywood.
    We saw Griffith Observatory from a distance.
    The Metro subway is great. The Metro bus was not great the day we needed it.
    LA is a vast city so we only saw a tiny part of it.
    Hollywood has two sections- the grimy part and the part for the well heeled.
    Sad to see so many homeless in some parts. We were told LA is America's homeless capital.

    ... Got complimentary warm choc chip cookies on check in.. So 2 for Andrew. Custom hotel LAX - our nicest room so far. Had Aussie toilets which was homely. Restaurant attached to it -deck 33 was nice. Tasty iced lemon water in the lobby. In a fairly ghetto area. Food highlights Food billboards that show burgers that come with 2 tacos and fries only after 9pm. Eating a large amount of Weiner dogs without the bun.. Mustard is good. Crispy deep fried Apple fries ...
