So after, we started to ascend the 10857ft Wolf Creek Pass. This pass is a steep 6.8% maximum grade on both sides. Near the top, it started snowing! Driving back to the state park we stopped for gas and hot chocolate - even Tricia purchased something in a convenience store - shocking!! Cathy had pre-prepared her yummy egg casserole, so when we arrived at the cabin she popped it in the oven and we soon had a delicious dinner.
