    ... orange lilo. Managing to turn a crimson shade of red. Found out there was a shuttle that goes between the town and the beach every 30 minutes, the thought of walking back almost killed us. Keen for Fish and Chups, we found a great chippy just around the corner, set us back a few more dollars than we'd of liked. Walked up the pier to find a nice spot to eat them.     ... But the next morning when he was having a shower, when the same two walked in on him some how unlatching the door and tried to give him a back massage... Frightened to hear how the story concluded, we hurried into town to find some food and beers. Explored the whole of Commercial Street, stopped at a Brazilian's street diner for dinner.     Okay so you can't go by Plymouth without stopping in to see where the first people stepped when arriving in the US off the Mayflower. Took some pictures of the replica of the Mayflower and also the Plymouth Rock Memorial... don't know if this was the actual rock or not but I touched it virtually in my pictures.     ... just kept explaining the we were from the UK which seemed to satisfy our audience.

    Dried off, did a bit of long jump and then sat up in the Life guard's chair- it was about 6pm and all the lifeguards had left. The sun was cooling off but the wind was still up. As it happened the hollow tubes at the back of the elevated chair we were all crushed into kept catching the breeze and playing different notes- a really unexpectedly magic moment.

    ... swim of 2013 we will bid farewell to our pals, cleaned up the cabin and were ready to begin the trek back west Saturday. By then we will have done our utmost to stimulate the US economy. It's amazing what you need to buy to set up a new home.Saturday dawned sunny and hot so we had a good long beach walk in Duxbury.
