... Saturday was spent relaxing by the pool, walking and hitting the driving range. What a relaxing day! This morning we were on the road by 9 a.m. and headed 4 hours south to Fort Myers. We had a great visit with Terry and Mary DeWyre who are staying the winter down here. After a two hour visit of chatting, cocktails and snacks we were back on the road south to ...

People are strange. And sometimes ridiculous. I hear a song on the radio where the singer is saying she never thinks about the guy anymore. She goes to great lengths to make this clear in the song. Yet paradoxically she has painstakingly written a song about him and is performing it for millions and all who will listen.

Short story idea. An American goes back in time to warn Japan that they are about to be nuked.

... which is very nice but expensive, we have an elderly English couple next to us who I overhear come here every winter and they are Lord & Lady but I can't gather the rest. We the go to a bar which seems again all older folk plus a few 'cougars' on the look out, don't think the old guy we saw earlier with his Ferrari would be interested in these he was showing his car to some very young girls! We the stop at another bar in 'Tin City' close to the hotel for another ...
