We left Naples at about 08.00 (had a sneaky Waffle House breakfast) and headed north then east across the great state of Florida. Getting off the interstate and on to a quieter road allows a better view of things. One thing hits you immediately - Florida is flat. Vast, huge, covered in trees and flat. ... a long day of flights all by my lonesome, having correctly assumed in advance that one week of Happy Magical Consumerism, “in stunning 3D”, would be enough for me. Of course, the rest of the gang were having none of that, and exhibited far greater Disneydurance than me, putting in a full additional week, only just on their way back today to the burgeoning mosquito population and tentative Rider discussions that are Saskatchewan in May.

We all manned up and decided to ride, and were soon being shot into the air like a cannon at 45mph within the first two seconds of the ride. There were more loops and ...
... is very little to engage the actual movie enthusiast. Indeed, the park seems to be stuck in a limboland of 1989 - where the revered elements are the movies of the 1930's and 1940's and there is a passing interest in the movies of the the day. Problem is that the day in question was 25 years ago nearly, and what probaby seems new and shiny to the execs who run the place is old and jaded to the Facebook generation. A 1.0 park in ...
