... it was time to board!!! Talk about good timing! Sadly had no time for duty free shopping. The Tanners then flew out of Australia ("Yesterday") and after 13 hours of pure movie watching, game playing and 1 hour cat napping we arrived at the one and only LAX (at 6am). The trip wasn't as bad as I had first expected but the wait that came after we landed is a whole other story. We collected our bags and went through customs and I met a ...

... into the sides of them. Palos Verdes is a very upscale community with large, almost massive, size homes. Saw a couple of horse farms too! The community appears to be small, which is a first for us in the Los Angeles area. Most communities have been an extension of LA itself, but not Palos Verdes. I'll make sure to take a ton of photos and blog about that sometime soon:)

We watched how they do special effects/animation in movies and also did the backlot tour, so saw a lot of sets (some generic, some specific - e.g. Wisteria Lane, Amity Island. Many more but I didn't recognise/haven't watched the movie). It's really amazing how they capture these sets & portray them onto the big screen; the sets are actually really small!! Eg, the beach from ...

... under you. The tour guide was the best part of the experience, with a pun for absolutely everything! Of course he had the appropriate jungle attire and a jolly laugh as well, so it was a fun introduction to the happiest place on earth.

After the swamp tour, we visited Tarzan's Treehouse. we walked up the top of a spiral staircase and walked across a swinging bridge. Along the way they had mini scenes from the movie all set up with videos as ...
