... to stir in their sleeping bags, families huddled around their fires as mom or dad cook over the camp stove. It is an amazing scene. Our seats are 3 rows down from the top of the bleachers, seats 1 & 2. We were happy to have aisle seats, but noooo...seats 1& 2 are on the other side of the row - and it looks like everyone is already seated so we climb over the whole row, "sorry, sorry..." About 5pm we got the beach bag out, a drink and off we set to find the beach. ...

Today we are travelling out of San Diego and heading back to LA just as a stop over before our flight to Orlando in the morning.

While we were at San Diego, we never had chance to go to La Jolla which is just outside if San Diego on the coast so we have decided to go there today as we won't be doing much in LA anyway.

It was easy getting to La Jolla but parking was a bit of a nightmare. We really wanted to get on the coast ...

How To Become an American

... of Americans and I think to some degree it is true. What you own, whether it's a new car, a bigger house or a new handbag, your social status goes up a few notches, because you own something better. This concept of pursuing material possessions, isn't isolated to America, it happens all over the world. But I definitely feel it's more obvious in America. One thing that has stood out to me most (and a stereotype that is perhaps the most ...
