There was a small structure at the very top of the hill that was used to help make distance measurements prior to GPS that had been left there.     ... chance look it up I was so looking forward to the thermal pools especially with snow but not so much the torrential rain! In case I hadn't mentioned before, the thermal pools are just as good as having a massage. So, we piled in the car... Again!     Today we got our last ever kiwi bus to Christchurch! It was the first bus of the whole trip that we didn't sit in the same place we had on the very first day as a group - end of an era!
