      ... around 900 to 1100. Later came the Normans and the Spanish. The Napoleon and the French...then the British.

      And on it goes. Photos are courtesy of a fellow traveler...the two of Mellieha are views from where we will be staying!!!

      This is why we are so excited to be heading to this island group which is such a curious mix of British, Italian, French and Arabic cultures!!!!

      ... and pick up a rental car. The weather was a little cooler when we headed back toward the border, and just as we hit the US/Canada Duty Free shop, it started to rain. After a short stop in Duty Free to load up on some essentials, we continued on our way to Lewiston, New York.

      ... Now they're coming back up the ramp. Everyone has to go down and get their luggage and rebook flights for tomorrow. We're lucky in that I get the gate person to start working on our rebooking before we head down to luggage.
