... grabbed some of the continental breakfast at the hotel, grabbed some coffee, packed our car, and headed to a coffee shop by the San Francisco Zoo to meet my friend Anna.

Justin basically threw me out of the car because, as usual, we were running late. Packing the car never seems to take as quick as we think it will take. I had a soy chair, and Justin has a soy white mocha, and then we sat down with Anna, in the coffee shop, for ...

The day was cloudless and forecast to be 28'. Our mission was to get to the Fishermans Wharf area about 9am to get our Hop On Hop Off and Alcatraz tickets. We'd need to catch trams to get there that early. The hotel reception staff told us that this week is Fleet Week and ...

... had missed the last connecting Downtown bus. Top tip – don’t use City Sightseeing Company!

The upside of this was that we could use the famous cable cars to get back to the Hotel. They are not the cable cars that are in the air, but rather a cable in the road pulls them around. There are always monster queues to get on to these things at either end, but if you go a couple of stations down the chances are better of getting on as they don’t ...
