Desmond did great on his first ever airplane flight. He was excited to see the lights of the airport before take off, slept till decent and then woke up to get his wings (and a cup!) from the flight attendant. We were flying first class right up by the bulkhead so we had plenty of room. Yay airline points! Unfortunately, when we landed we learned that our flight to D.C. had been canceled. So, ...

... you get on the one at PNE. The Ferris Wheel was kinda cool. We managed to get a free ticket from a survey we randomly did yesterday =) In a city that's expensive to visit, every deal you get helps. Leaving the crowds of the Pier behind, we crossed our fingers, hoping dinner would go off without a hitch. Though perhaps, you're already sensing another testing patience moment coming up.

... a last lunch of wow bao dumplings. I scoff down 8 (I held off enough to share some with my beloved) dumplings. Hinesh has the cold hot peanut sauce noodles with some bbq pork baos.

After our lunch we head to Wrigley Park. As we get on the trains, we forget about the Cubs vs Cardinals game and the trains are packed. We get to Addison station and follow the crowd out. There is no way we are getting a tour today - boo. We look to get some tickets for the game but ...
