Life's a Beach
... spent buying our train tickets for Thurs.
Forgot to take passports so it required two trips of walking for an
hour in the heat. The afternoon we attempted to take a bus to a
nearby beach. Chris nearly bowled by a SUV as we watched out for

Hainandao
We joined a tour group from HK to take a 4 day trip to Hainan island. Hainan is a spa resort although sadly with all the land development, much of the natural springs seem to have disappeared. Hainan has 2 airports, with SanYa on the west side of the sand located closest to the scenic spots. A week of sun, sand, swimming, scuba and alcohol
... that this wasn't his family restaurant. We were so confused! It wasn't even as if he got anything off us! So strange! We headed back to the surf bar and had some beers, we then went to a Chinese nightclub MJ, which was crazy. We were popular and everybody wanted to drink with us and we got invited to so many tables! What a night! Best of all - Free drinks for the Westerners! Love being treated like we are special!
