      ... is less than the cost of hiring a GPS for the same period! Fortunately, the GPS on the phone is very efficient and we can navigate out of SF quite easily- this is possibly the only good part of it being a Labour Day Weekend, all the natives have abandoned the city- I think they may have all decided to drive the Big Sur with us!

      ... outside temperature was right at 90 degrees---not good for a fat boy to be hiking in such weather.
