... is less than the cost of hiring a GPS for the same period! Fortunately, the GPS on the phone is very efficient and we can navigate out of SF quite easily- this is possibly the only good part of it being a Labour Day Weekend, all the natives have abandoned the city- I think they may have all decided to drive the Big Sur with us!

The freeway is great and certainly a lot easier than our Spanish experiences since we can read all the signs here! There is a lot of driving ...

Enjoying the Big Sur coastline as we look for a signal for T-mobile

Fairly slow day in the campground and pretty much just lazed around until after lunch and decided to
go drive toward Monterey and see if we could get a signal for the new T-mobile network we have gotten because of the ...

... the dirt path and bumped into a guy who said we could camp a bit further down the path from where he himself had set up. At first the dude seemed friendly, but once again turned out to be an absolute mentalist (only he did actually claim to have some mental issues and had been to see a shrink based on stories of being sexually abused as a kid). We could neither prove or disprove this but it did seem odd how much he was willing to share even though he claimed to never talk about ...
