      After a grueling five days of driving, it was time to find a nice campground and hang out for a few days. My plan was to stay at the state park on the beach near Destin. But the polar vortex spoiled things, so I found an RV park near Pensacola instead.       Fort Pickens is the largest o four forts built to decent Pensacola Bay and its navy yard. The fort was named for Revolutionary War hero General Andrew Pickens (from South Carolina).
