... some snacks. Little C fell asleep after the immigration checkpoint and slept all the way to boarding.

The flight was L-O-N-G fighting the westbound headwinds - 12 hours! - but everyone did really well. The kids slept on and off, we slept on and off. It was as good as 12 hours in a packed coach cabin could be.

We were slightly delayed getting into Newark, which was going to make our connection tight, but ...

... Wednesday’s DEN-NRT flight looked better with 14 BusinessFirst seats open and I was #12 on the SA upgrade list. I decided after breakfast this morning to abort flying DCA-DEN this afternoon as originally planned and depart for Denver tomorrow instead.
