Today was a little slow going, we arrived here at the Pepsi Center early. Upon arriving I was able to watch the trusses go up, than the stage took form. It was interesting to see everything go up. Mind you, there were periods of delays and times where I thought we would never make our timeline to start the concert, but we did it and started on time.

... passed the scene of a fatal accident which had taken place only 2 hours before. A truck had gone right through the barrier and over the edge. Horrible. Jake is doing great though and the only problem we encountered along the way was having to beep at a lady who nearly pulled out into us (might have had something to do with the little dog she had on her lap whilst driving!!!!). ...

... in. We were at the desk for at least 45 minutes. The Delta employee was nice enough to assist us in getting through security quickly and we got to the gate with seconds to spare before they closed the door. The experience really got the addreneline going for the day. We were half way to Atlanta before I settled down.

Our layover in Atlanta was about 4 hours. It worked out alright, because our gate was at the end of the concourse and the kids ...
