Up at first light again to await the arrival of the Mexican pickers. A professional team that should rattle through the vines in no time at all! Best deal at a campground: Meeks Bay State Campground on the west shore of Lake Tahoe at $12.50 a night (after discount)
Most dusty: Black Rock Desert, Nevada
Hottest: Arches National Monument near Moab, Utah
They could go on and on and eventually fill in a best/most category for about every place we’ve been on this trip, but it would get tedious and I need a nap.
