... s seat to be safe! It was a great way to spend the day! We stopped at the Point Arena Lighthouse and saw California seals lying on the rocks. The rocks are so interesting. They are striated with grooves from the constant surf and wind. One time when we got out of the car, we didn't even notice a big bull across the street from us OUTSIDE his fenced in area!
I stopped for a couple of nights in Emeryville just outside of San Francisco then I got the train up to Sacramento to meet with Terry Daniels, one of the directors of hOurworld and his girl friend Lara. ... good view! We leave the winery and meander through some obscure San Francisco streets, snaking our way towards the bridge.. Jackie is driving (trying to avoid the steep hills) and Paul navigating.. Some time and many turns later, Paul realises that he's been navigating with the phone set on 'walk' mode.... ... as somebody you love is near to cuddle with and the millet spray holds out, things will be okay. I have also discovered that you can’t possibly appreciate this country until you get on the road (something that the Europeans have known for a while now).

... as well. It is such a beautiful coastline with stunning towns, it was a joy to be there.
The most impressive landmark I saw would have to be the Leaning Tower of Pisa. Yes, the Rome Coliseum and The David, were amazing as well. But the Tower to me was strikingly beautiful and took my breath away. It was beyond any expectations I had of it.
It was such a joy to attend the English Congregation by Florence, definitely a highlight as well.
