    ... Bay and just beach after beach after beach. There is a famous stop on the way, Sea Lion Caves, which you have to pay to go down to the cave and see them but unfortunately we got the wrong time of year as they are all out at sea getting fat for winter!

    It has been a welcomed couple of chilled days by the beach after the cities but tomorrow we are heading back inland to some more National Parks and we have some long driving ahead of us so its off to bed for an early night!

    ... it was because I was smaller, ha, ha. This bird was a little darker with more brown than the slate blue on our last post.. Probably male and female - again more research needed. We have been very lucky to witness this and see these beautiful raptors.

    ... where we ate. We followed up with a very long sunset walk along the beach to the Haystack, covered in mures and a few hard to spot puffins. Park parking lot.Next stop is Manzanita beach which once more is a wide expanse of white sandy beach with virtually nobody on it this does seem par for the course for the area,we moved on to Manhattan beach which is absolutely beautiful once more and virtually deserted so me and Jackie partake in some loving( Yummy) we return back to Garibaldi but stop just outside of town and watch the pelicans and cormorants fishing in the bay which is a great sight to see.We ...
