... was right at lunchtime . Fairly large dining area inside and al fresco with a nice view of the river. Everyone's casually dressed and very laid back, very at ease atmosphere. Sonya arrives looking great as usual. Smiling, excited, eager and hungry all in one. We get seated and order lemonade, really good stuff, and she tells me what she's ordered in her previous visits. I study the menu and choose something not on the menu! Chicken enchiladas with mołe sauce on top. ...

... canons, knives, swords etc. It must have been extremely laboring to do this! It was about 11:30 am when we finished the tour (on a nicer day you could obviously spend longer if you didn't skip things like we did, pending interest!); we headed to Rivercenter Mall to have some breakky (our first ihop experience), as well as do some shopping to better equip ourselves with the climate! Mum found a puffer jacket on sale at Macy's, down from $200-something to $90" and ...

... them in 30 minutes. Yep you read that right, half an hour. So this all took place at this mission called the Alamo. All that's left of the Alamo mission is basically the chapel area but it was still interesting to wander around and see the old building as this fight took place in the 1830s so the building is fairly old! We braved the bad weather and strolled over to the tower of the Americas. It was like most ...
