Shopping ... unsuccessfully

A travel blog entry by jason934 on Oct 08, 2015

Our only activity today was an attempt to get the suitcases fuller before we head home in three weeks. We went to many stores over 6 hours and didn't get much at all, despite trying on lots of clothes. The day was pretty warm but it got overcast so the day was comfortable despite being in the late 80s. For lunch we had Taco Bell and for dinner we had ...

... area, nice hiking trails, but lots of carrying your boat over low water areas. Not for me, with 2 dogs, gear, and a boat. So, we just went hiking. I think Roscoe had more fun than I did. Had a great hike then took off on another road trip about 10:30 am.

The first guy seemed a little bored so wasn't that great but the second guy was good. The first tour was large, ...

When I was finished in the Alamo I had some time up my sleeve so I visited the best looking ice cream parlour & had a caramel sundae with coconut macaroon ice cream. Had a sneaky window shop & then met Sam out front of the Alamo. He had a bag full of old Japanese ...

I LOVE San Antonio, Texas. It is a very cool city and I can't wait to come back.

We got up in the morning to see The Alamo before we had to head to our next destination: Belmorhea State Park. We got to The Alamo at about 9 am and stayed for a couple of hours. We had to go back to the campsite to pick up our trailer, check-out was at 11. They said we could keep ...
