... Of course, I had to pick the card that said "taking a number 2"! Who thinks of this stuff??

We watched some artistic log carving at one of our favorite places to tourist shop and when Roy brought Aubrey into the shop, she latched onto a little stuffed beagle puppy with what he called a "death grip". There was no choice but to buy it for her and Madi picked out the cutest husky puppy for ...

Overall, I have to say this place is so much nicer than any other cabin we've stayed in up in this area. I'll score it a 8.5 out of 10 mainly because it's built into the side of a big hill and there's no flat ground for the kids to play outside.

Glad we all made it up the mountain safe and sound.

... Balloon Fiesta, held annually in October. The nine-day event is one of the city's largest tourist attractions, drawing more than 700 hot-air balloonists from all over the world. It's the world's largest balloon festival. The event began in 1972 as the highlight of a 50th birthday celebration for local radio station KOB. Albuquerque seems to bring out good things in music. Glen Campbell began his career here playing guitar in his ...

Much cooler today, in the mid 80's and overcast
It only sprinkled when I was filling up the car.
Salt River Canyon is spectacular but requires driver concentration. I am glad it was a short day.
Tomorrow, I am aiming for Cortez, CO. for the weekend
    Today's lunch was forgetable ...
